Apoplasmic and simplasmic phloem unloading mechanisms: Do they co-exist in Angeleno plums under demanding environmental conditions?

1 June

Professor Luca Corelli Grappadelli, inaugural veski sustainable agricultural fellow - along with the Tatura team - have recently published a paper in the Journal of Plant Physiology after his trip to Australia.

The first paper titled Apoplasmic and simplasmic phloem unloading mechanisms: Do they co-exist in Angeleno plums under demanding environmental conditions? - is the first paper ever to report the signs of coexistance within the same day (ie. the first indication that they can operate simultaneously) of the two seperate ways that fruit can use to gain weight mentioned Prof Corelli Grapadelli.
